Here’s a link to an interesting article suggesting that junk food is addictive, similar to cigarettes. I don’t disagree. What do you think?

Great article Jaimie! When it comes to junk food, I really have to keep it out of the house to avoid it. When it is in the house, I binge. My brain definitely looks at chips, high salt snacks as “treats”, even if I feel awful the next day. And most often, I find myself lethargic, cranky…
Me too. I just don’t buy it because I know that I will eat it — and practically nothing else — until I have eaten it all up, sometimes all in the same day! For me, it is sweets, especially chewy sweets. During every trip to the grocery store, I buy ONE junk food/”treat”/I-know-I-shouldn’t-eat-it item. Then when it is gone, that’s it until I go for my regular grocery shopping trip. It’s not perfect, but it works for me!
