I receive a newsletter from my health insurance company each month in the mail. The cover article touted the benefits of being active each day, and reminded me that, as adults, we often put “exercise” on our to-do list, which makes it just one more thing that we need to accomplish. But how about treating it like we did when we were kids, and just being active as part of our everyday?
Here are the suggestions from the newsletter:
- Play with your kids, especially outside
- Go for a walk with a friend or your dog or both
- Go for a bike ride
- Go on a walking tour of your town or some other place
- Go bowling or rolling skating!
- Sign up for an activity class, like a dance class
Do you have any other great ideas you’d like to share?
